Art Classes and Workshops
Painting Fabulous Landscapes

Objectives:
To achieve better paintings via improved techniques and composition design. To gain more confidence in the artist in you and your creative ability. To enjoy the creative
process even more.
Level:
Intermediate (have some painting experience and are ready to take it to the next level) and Advanced (serious hobby to professional level) artists
Mediums
Your choice of acrylic, oils or water based oils. What we learn works with all three.
Cost:
$90 for 3 x 3 hour classes. Once a week for 3 weeks.

What I Teach:
What to look for when choosing your painting subject and how to make it into a good composition, which I show can be half the battle of a good painting.
How to make changes that can make a huge difference to a painting.
Practice the art of looking at details, colors, composition and especially light. Often we don't really see what we are looking at because we have pre-conceived ideas how we think it looks.
How and why I use the camera and programs like Photoshop to help me "see" in a different way. (I will bring my laptop to show you)
Tips on materials, techniques and applications of paint.
Why it is so important to gain more confidence in yourself and how to give yourself permission to be the artist you want to be.
There will be talking, positive suggestions and discussions that will get you excited about your art and yourself as an artist and help you to take the steps you have been afraid of or avoiding.
